Saskatchewan issued 858 invitations to Express Entry and Occupation In-Demand candidates in October 31st EOI draw
The province of Saskatchewan conducted another big Expression of Interest (EOI) draw on October 31 that invited 858 Express entry and Occupation in-demand candidates to apply for provincial nomination for Canada permanent residence.
Out of 858 invites issued, a total of 627 went to Express Entry candidates while Occupations In-Demand candidates received the remaining 231 invitations.
Skilled workers, who wish to immigrate to Saskatchewan under the Saskatchewan Immigration Nominee Program’s (SINP) Occupation In-Demand and Express Entry sub-categories, need to first submit an EOI profile to demonstrate their skills and qualifications.
Eligible candidates are awarded a score out of 100 based on the SINP’s International Skilled Worker Points Assessment Grid, which considers various factors such as age, education, skilled work experience, proficiency in English or French and connections to Saskatchewan.
The highest-ranked candidates are then invited to apply for provincial nomination through regular draws conducted by the SINP.
Qualified candidates under both of the sub-categories with a minimum score of 69 points were issued the invitations in October 31st invitation round. Candidates with a score of 68 points and with minimum eligible work experience within the past 10 years and language proficiency of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level of 7 or higher were also selected by SINP.
The candidates who received invitations in latest draw represent 58 occupations that include human resource professionals, Database analysts and data administrators, Information systems analysts and consultants, Drafting technologists and technicians, and Aircraft mechanics & aircraft inspectors.
Express Entry candidates who receive a provincial nomination from Saskatchewan are awarded an additional 600 points toward their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score, which effectively guaranteed an invitation to apply (ITA) for Canadian permanent residence in subsequent Federal Express Entry draw.
Marching on the road of issuing invitations to candidates to apply for a provincial nomination, the SINP has now issued a total of 4,704 invitations over the course 11 invitation rounds in the past six weeks.
The invited candidates now have 60 days to submit their complete application for a provincial nomination for Canadian permanent residence to SINP.
