Saskatchewan issued 525 invitations to Express Entry and Occupations In-demand candidates in latest PNP draw held on 12th November

In the latest draw conducted on 12th November, the Canadian province of Saskatchewan invited 525 Express Entry and Occupations In-demand candidates to apply for provincial nomination for Canadian permanent residence.

Out of total 525 invites issued, 303 went to Express Entry candidates with a minimum point score of 69. Meanwhile, Occupations In-Demand stream candidates received remaining 222 invitations with a minimum score of 69 points.

Express Entry and In-Demand Occupation sub-categories are two prominent streams within the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) for individuals who have a minimum of one year of work experience in a qualified skilled profession that is related to their area of study, among different criteria.

In order to apply for a provincial nomination through either of these streams, candidates do not require a job offer in Saskatchewan. However, they need to first register an Expression of Interest (EOI) with the SINP.

Eligible EOIs are then awarded a score out of 100 based on the SINP’s International Skilled Worker Points Assessment Grid. Candidates who score the highest are then invited to apply for provincial nomination through regular invitation rounds conducted by the SINP.

Candidates must also have an “Education Credential Assessment” before they apply under the SINP.

The November 12th draw targeted candidates in 94 eligible occupations that include human resource managers, database analysts and administrators, power system operators, power engineers, drafting technologists and technicians.

The SINP has now issued a total of 5,229 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination to candidates in both Express Entry and Occupations In-demand sub-categories over the course of 12 draws held since September 25.

Invited candidates now have 60 days to submit their complete application for provincial nomination to Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP).
